Christian Bill of Rights – The right to practice being a Christian

Monday, March 22nd, 2010

There is a tendency to give rights to minorities that limit the rights of Christians (like the homo debate, where Christians shut up and give way and the homos march forward – the same with abortion), and other issues as well! There are also countries where Christians are directly persecuted.
We got the right and duty as Christians to say what is right and wrong according to the Bible, Gods word.
We are saved by grace and all need Gods mercy, and Christians being imperfect does not mean that we are hypocrites when we say what is right and wrong – even we fail at it ourselves sometimes.
People all over the world uphold certain standards or values, even they know that some people occasionally or frequently, even deliberately and constantly violate those standards. This is valid for smoking prohibitions, speed limits and many other things.
Everybody knows that Christians and non-christians make mistakes. Every time a law or standard or value is broken, it does not mean that that law is to be changed or taken away /deleted.
The whole idea of this about double standards is just to get the Christians to shut up.
It must be possible to promote values and standards, Christian and non-christian, even we and the initiators of those values/standards/laws break them. If not all ends in anarcy.
So stop shutting up, instead start speaking the truths and values found in the Bible. Not with the purpose of hitting Christians and non-christians in the head or to point fingers at them, but for the sake of upholding, uplifting and promoting right values based on Gods word.
Christians are to be a light in the world, and many Christians like being a light – a good example. But few Christians like to be a salt in the world, which we also are to be! Salt is not pleasant at first, but it brings healing to the body.
We are to be the head and not the tail.
It is impossible to be the head in the society and your workplace or school with out speaking what Gods word says is right!

To God be the glory

Saturday, October 24th, 2009

One of my all time favorite songs written by Andrae Crouch.

To God be the glory

How can I say thanks
for the things you have done for me
Things so undeserved
Yet you gave Your Son to prove your love for me
The voices of a million angels
Cannot express my gratitude
All that I am or ever hope to be
I owe it all to Thee

(Chorus)
To God be the glory
To God be the glory
To God be the glory
For the things He has done
With His blood, He has saved me
By His power, He has raised me.
To God be the glory
For the things he has done

(Bridge)
Just let me live my life
And let it be pleasing, Lord to Thee
And should I gain any praise,
Let it go to Calvary.

With His blood, He has saved me
By His power, He has raised me.
To God be the glory
For the things he has done.

Why do you do it? For your glory or for Gods glory?

Friday, October 23rd, 2009

Things done for Gods glory and praise can never be crushed, smashed, stopped and destroyed. God will not allow it to happen.

God is always and for ever the winner. So just make sure that what you do is done for His glory and nobody else’s glory, and you are on the winning side.

With the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, God displayed that He is the Almighty God and totally superior to the Devil. To God be the glory for ever and ever!

1.    never rewrite your theology to accomodate tragedy.
2.    Crisis always occurs at the curve of change.
3.    You will never outgrow warfare, you must simply learn to fight.
4.    Memory is more enslaving than any injustice.
5.    Your significance is not your similarity to another, but in your point of difference from another.
6.    What you can tolerate. You cannot change.
7.    The seasons of your life will change everytime you decide to use your faith.
