Inkompetente politikere

August 1st, 2010

Creation cost God nothing but Salvation everything!

July 31st, 2010

CREATION cost God nothing. He spoke and it stood. No sweat, no effort. But our SALVATION cost God everything – His only begotten Son. Imagine: God sweating drops of blood in the process… We can only fall on our knees and thank the Lord. – Reinhard Bonnke

Cross‑less Christianity is a falsification.

Any portrayal of God without the Cross is a betrayal of the One who hung on it. Cross‑less Christianity is a falsification. – Reinhard Bonnke

The church is not a restaurant

The church is not a restaurant for fine cuisine; it is a canteen for workers. – Reinhard Bonnke

The church is a lifeboat not a pleasure boat.

July 27th, 2010

The church is a lifeboat not a pleasure boat. Entertainers are neither needed nor wanted. From the captain to the cook all hands are needed on deck for soul-saving. The church that does not seek the lost is “lost” itself. – Reinhard Bonnke

Christian Bill of Rights – The right to practice being a Christian

March 22nd, 2010

There is a tendency to give rights to minorities that limit the rights of Christians (like the homo debate, where Christians shut up and give way and the homos march forward – the same with abortion), and other issues as well! There are also countries where Christians are directly persecuted.
We got the right and duty as Christians to say what is right and wrong according to the Bible, Gods word.
We are saved by grace and all need Gods mercy, and Christians being imperfect does not mean that we are hypocrites when we say what is right and wrong – even we fail at it ourselves sometimes.
People all over the world uphold certain standards or values, even they know that some people occasionally or frequently, even deliberately and constantly violate those standards. This is valid for smoking prohibitions, speed limits and many other things.
Everybody knows that Christians and non-christians make mistakes. Every time a law or standard or value is broken, it does not mean that that law is to be changed or taken away /deleted.
The whole idea of this about double standards is just to get the Christians to shut up.
It must be possible to promote values and standards, Christian and non-christian, even we and the initiators of those values/standards/laws break them. If not all ends in anarcy.
So stop shutting up, instead start speaking the truths and values found in the Bible. Not with the purpose of hitting Christians and non-christians in the head or to point fingers at them, but for the sake of upholding, uplifting and promoting right values based on Gods word.
Christians are to be a light in the world, and many Christians like being a light – a good example. But few Christians like to be a salt in the world, which we also are to be! Salt is not pleasant at first, but it brings healing to the body.
We are to be the head and not the tail.
It is impossible to be the head in the society and your workplace or school with out speaking what Gods word says is right!

Det er så fascinerende!

November 26th, 2009
